Beef and Cabbage Soup
Ingredients 2 pounds of ground beef 1 large onion, chopped 2 cups shredded carrots 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning 2 (14.5 oz) cans of diced tomatoes 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 4 cups chopped cabbage 4 cups beef broth
Directions 1. In a Dutch Oven on medium-high heat add the ground beef and brown completely, approximately 5-7 minutes, breaking apart into small pieces. 2. Add onions and carrots and cook until soft, about 10 minutes. 3. Add garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper, and cook until fragrant. 4. Stir in the tomatoes, cabbage and beef broth. 5. Bring everything to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes until the cabbage is cooked.
